So... I thought I would post a little about my current activities.
I'm a medical researcher at the University of North Carolina.  My work is related to brain damage in premature infants but I only work with mice.
I'm pretty much a big science geek - a self-described person who never grew out of the childhood phase of asking "Why ...?"
I really like my job - I've had a few stinkers, so I appreciate enjoying my 9 to 5 activities.
I won't bore the internet with anything specific, but here are some pictures of mouse brains!!


Ooooohhh!  The first one is just a generic tissue stain to see the details and the second is a specific stain for a special protein.
I deal with a lot of mouse brains.
I also do DNA work...
But I'll save that for later.................. to be continued...........................
